Hello to all. This "blast" is to reach anyone who might be interested.
-- The second session of the Bluegrass Club is half over with tonight's meeting at the old Pace school in Haymarket (7:00). Between the two sessions most members have learned 9 tunes they probably did not know before and they have had a lot of fun pickin' with new friends.
The QUESTION is: Who is interested in a session through the summer months?
The present session will end on July 17. The Third Session of Bluegrass Club would run in August, September and October.
Right now I'm looking for a "show of hands" so I can plan. (We have to let QBE know we will be there, we have to have a few bucks to pay the rent, etc.)
If you think that "more probably than not" you will be attending, PLEASE RESPOND to this email and say so. Deal?
This program has been quite successful with the last meeting attracting 24 people of all skill levels PLUS we jammed for a while after the meeting. You can visit tonight if you want (7:00) at 14600 Washington Street (Rt.55 - John Marshall Hiway). Tonight's tune to learn: "Steel Rails" in G.
Thanks in advance for your responses!
Now it is time to . . . . . . . go pick!
Bruce
