Good morning! For some, our original link didn’t work – we’ve included a modified link, below.
On behalf of the D.C. State Board of Education, you’re invited to join the State Board in a dialogue about proposed changes to high school graduation requirements and a new way of measuring what students know.
Concluding two years of public meetings and conversations with the community, the State Board wants to share their final recommendation of revised high school graduation requirements. In addition, the State Board will initiate a longer-term conversation on what competency-based learning might look like in the District of Columbia.
When: July 9, 2014, 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Where: Dorothy Height/Benning Road Library, 3935 Benning Rd NE (Minnesota Avenue Metro)
RSVP: https://dcgraduationrequirements.eventbrite.com
If you can, please share this invitation with students, parents, teachers, school leaders, and any other community member who you think may want to join us in this discussion.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
