Hosted by the University of California, Washington Center this event is designed to engage students on topics including college affordability and completion and ways the U.S. Department of Education can further engage the broader higher education community as the conversation continues.

 

A college education has never been more important in today's global economy, unfortunately, it has never been more expensive. The Obama administration has outlined an ambitious agenda to combat the rising college costs and make college more affordable, increase quality, and improve educational outcomes. You can read President Obama's plan to make college more affordable here.

Please RSVP to Johnathan Hill at Johnathan.Hill@ed.gov, with your name and school/organization no later than Tuesday, June 10th, by 12:00 p.m. Space will be limited, so we'll take RSVP's on a first-come, first-serve basis. Attendees are requested to bring a photo ID and check-in at the front desk to enter the building.  

 

Parking near the UCDC center is very limited. Nearest metro stops include Farragut North, Farragut West and Dupont Circle (south exit).
