Paul PCS presents "My Brother's Keeper...Responding to the Call" in partnership with BMAFunders, Capital Cause, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation, and The Black Man Can Institute, celebrating National Charter School Week & Teacher Appreciation Week.
Date: Thursday, May 8, 2014
Location: Paul Public Charter School
5800 Eighth Street, NW
Washington, DC 20011
Time: 3 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
President Obama boldly announced “My Brother’s Keeper,” an initiative aimed to create opportunities for young boys and men to reach their full potential. Paul PCS seeks to respond to the call for action around this critical issue.
On the heels of President Barack Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative launched on Thursday, February 27, 2014, Paul PCS recognizes National Charter School Week in conjunction with Teacher Appreciation Week by hosting a forum on this critical issue: “My Brother’s Keeper…Responding to the Call.” Paul believes in educating all of our young boys of color through middle and high school in order to prepare them to go to and through college. Paul strives to continue the dialogue on this issue.
Join us in this conversation to address the prevailing issues facing young boys of color in the District of Columbia! Make sure you RSVP by May 7, 2014 through our eventbrite registration (SEE BELOW)
