[YEP-DC] Job Posting: Work with education clients--Reingold Summer Internship Program

Summer Internship Program

Communications and Digital Marketing Internships

Want to make a difference working with meaningful clients on interesting and creative projects? An internship at Reingold may be just what you are looking for!

Reingold is a social marketing and communications consulting firm. Most of our clients are government agencies, professional associations, and nonprofit organizations. Much of our current work focuses on education, veterans' issues, and health care.

Reingold is seeking enthusiastic interns to tackle a variety of assignments. This is no ordinary internship. While we may ask you to make a few photocopies, our interns contribute fully as a part of our team. You will gain hands-on, meaningful career skills working with our clients on important causes. These internships are for students and recent graduates who are serious about pursuing a career in public relations or digital marketing.

Internships are full-time (40 hours per week) and pay an hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.

To apply, please email (as attachments) a cover letter, resume, and two writing samples. In the body of the email, indicate which internship position you are applying for. We encourage candidates to select the position for which they feel they are best qualified, rather than applying for both. No phone calls, please. Send materials by April 24 to: Mark Custer and Shannon Tucker at internships@reingold.com.

Interns will work directly with experienced, award-winning consultants on client projects. Duties include: drafting materials for clients, providing internal support, conducting Internet research, media pitching, creating social media content, assisting with event planning and execution, and performing other tasks depending on your skills and our needs. We encourage initiative in shaping your intern experience!

 Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Dedication to making a difference on pressing social issues
  • Willingness to learn

 Digital Marketing Internship

 Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze and report data
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to learn

 Preferred qualities:

  • Experience analyzing website data using Google Analytics
