[dcab-l] Inaugural Open Mic at WAMU's Bluegrass Country

Hi everyone,

WAMU’s Bluegrass Country hosted its inaugural live broadcast of Open Mic tonight at its acoustically-delightful “Black Box Theater.”   WAMU’s on-air personalities Paul Brown, Katy Daley and Lee Michael Demsey warmed up the audience and introduced three terrific bands from the greater-DC area:  Bud's Collective, Patuxent Partners, and Bill Emerson & Sweet Dixie.  The live audience was treated to an up close and personal house concert-style setting.  Fortunately, everyone is able to watch the program on line at http://bluegrasscountry.org/news/open-mic-live-from-wamu/

A big thanks to the WAMU staff and volunteers for putting this event together.  We hope to see many more concerts in the near future.
