[YEP-DC] Volunteer Tutors Needed at Community College of District of Columbia

MAKE AN IMPACT THIS SUMMER - VOLUNTEER AS A TUTOR

·        Do you have at least 2 hours in the week open?

·        Are you able to connect with college students?

·        Knowledgeable in one or more subject areas?

The Community College of the District of Columbia is actively recruiting for 30 tutors who are engaging, dynamic, and knowledgeable in the areas of math, science, and English to assist our undergraduates many of whom are first generation, international, and/or economically disadvantaged students.

With 96% of students testing into at least one developmental course, the support of volunteer tutors is vital to our student's success!

For more information, please contact John-Ubong Silas, Volunteer Program Coordinator at john-ubong.silas@udc.edu or 202-274-6934.  We are conveniently located at 801 North Capitol St. NE (2 blocks from Union Stations Metro Station)
