Women Opening Doors for Women (WODW) is almost here! Click here to purchase your tickets to "One of Washington's best networking events." - Washingtonian Magazine

Dinners are selling out so get your ticket today!

When: Thursday, June 14, Reception from 6:00-7:00pm, Dinners from 7:30-9:30pm.

Where:   First, meet us at the AFL-CIO at 815 16th St, NW to hear our keynote speaker, Heather Holdridge, Director of Digital Strategy, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, honor our Karen Mulhauser Award winner, Kierra Johnson, Executive Director of Choice USA, enjoy appetizers and wine, and mingle with over 400 fellow professional women. Then, attend one of 20+ engaging, thought-provoking, and fun dinner party discussions around the city.

WODW celebrates the founding of the Women's Information Network (WIN) 23 years ago around a kitchen table, when women came together to help each other achieve professional success. WODW dinners are a unique opportunity to learn from and network with both accomplished and up-and-coming women who share your passions.

One of the exciting dinners you can attend is Women in STEM: Why So Few? Why does it Matter? Catherine Hill, author of American Association of University Women (AAUW)'s report "Why So Few: Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics", will discuss her research on the barriers women and girls face which may prevent some from engaging and succeeding in the higher paying and critically needed fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.  Erin Prangley will discuss recent public policy initiatives aimed at recruiting and maintaining a strong STEM workforce and the political and market influences that are driving these efforts.

Check out the rest of our 22 dinner parties and then purchase your ticket today before they sell out!
