I am a Videographer from VA and I would suggest you think about the end product and how "Professional" it needs to be. If you are looking to just get gigs out of it you could go with the $180 but if you are looking for a record deal you might need to pay more. You get what you pay for. Also you might see if they have a YouTube page or Vimeo so you can see some of their work.

I'd like to get a video of my band to use for promotional purposes. My first thought was my niece with a camcorder, but she couldn't get off work.I talked to three professional guys (and gals). One said he'd ordinarily charge $1300, but I was able to get him down to $500. Another said he couldn't do it for less than $1400. The third said she'd do it for $180.Would I be cutting my own throat if I went with the low bidder? Has anyone had this done and has any advice? Can you recommend someone?Thanx! When you reply to this message, please use the "REPLY ALL" option.
