I am going to be playing banjo and guitar with the Ebony Hillbillies and saying some words about the history of the music we wil be playing at this event at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival on the Mall in DC.

The Music of Monticello and the Blue Ridge: Concert and Dance Party
The Ebony Hillbillies perform African American folk music of the Virginia Piedmont in conjunction with the 46th Smithsonian Folklife Festival. At the dance party, learn buck dancing and reels that were popular in colonial America.
