[YEP-DC] Volunteer Posting: a few needed for YEP National's Career Build 2015 on 9/26

Hi YEP-DC,

I'm hosting the first-ever YEP National members event online on Saturday, September 26, and I hope that you will consider volunteering to play lead roles. We've recruited education leaders from around the country to host small, career-focused groups using Google Hangouts. I need a few volunteers to assist these leaders during the event, being their sidekicks for the afternoon. If you are interested in participating, please email me at robert.hanna@gmail.com

See below this email for a list of confirmed group leaders. The event page is here: https://yepnational2015.eventbrite.com

The commitment will likely be from 12noon - 4:30pm, as the event will run from 1-4pm.

Some background:
YEP Career Build 2015 will be a completely virtual event. We plan to start with a plenary session (Google On Air) around 1pm, followed by three small group sessions (in Google Hangouts). Each small group will meet for around 30 minutes. Participants will be able to join three different groups over the course of the afternoon. The topics of discussion will likely differ across groups, but they will be focused on participants' career goals. We've based this on DC's popular Edu-Jobs event.

Today, there are over 12,000 YEP members around the country in over a dozen chapters. All chapters are invited.

Please email me with any questions.

Thanks.
