The "Performing Artist Series" and "Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series" programs at Holy Cross Lutheran Church invite one and all to a FREE concert by THE CHUCK WAGON GANG on Sunday, October 4, 2015 with a show time of 3:00 pm (doors will open at 2:00 pm).
This magnificent vocal quarter has been singing what has been called 'grass roots' Gospel music for over 75 years now. Over these years they have recorded well over 800 songs and have sold 40 million records worldwide. WHAT AN OUTSTANDING TRACK RECORD THAT IS. The current ensemble continues the great tradition started three quarters of a century ago by 'Dad Carter,' and, the current alto lead just happens to be the granddaughter of the original alto lead. The Chuck Wagon Gang is in the record books as being the oldest Gospel singing, continuously recording, mixed quarter - what more could you ask for.
