DC's Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is currently recruiting for a handful of new leadership roles.  Check out the summaries below, and please forward to folks who may be interested – or, for that matter, throw your own hat in the ring!

Director of Communications

• Develops and manages execution of OSSE's strategic communications 
  
• Manages a team of five staff members
  
• Ensures that all stakeholders understand OSSE's goals, priorities & decisions

Director of Talent and Human Resources

• Develops and executes strategy for recruiting, developing & retaining talent
  
• Effectively manages a team of ~15 individuals
  
• Ensures smooth and efficient HR processes and operations across agency

Chief of Staff

• Drives organizational change management for the agency
  
• Oversees communications, policy, budgeting and HR/talent functions
  
• Leads implementation of OSSE's new strategic plan, in coordination with the agency's executive team

Strategic Projects Manager (please email osse.talent@dc.gov to request job description)

• Uses data to drive continuous improvement in agency performance
  
• Offers strategic recommendations to management across functional areas
  
• Works with all OSSE divisions, with direct exposure to agency leadership
