The Lourie Center Early Head Start (LCEHS) program is an early education program. The LCEHS provides comprehensive, year-round, child and family development services to low-income families with children, prenatal to three years old.

 

Job Posting: Health and Disabilities Coordinator

 

Under the supervision of the Lourie Center Early Head Start Program Director, assures service delivery in compliance with Federal regulation. Responsible for the monitoring and assuring compliance in meeting health/disability mandates for infants, toddlers and pregnant women. Lead responsibility for organizing and maintaining Health Services Advisory Committee, and providing staff and parent development activities in health/disability related areas

 

Job Posting: Family Support Worker

 

Under the supervision of the Lourie Center Early Head Start Social-Emotional Wellness Coordinator, assures service delivery in compliance with Federal regulations. Responsible for monitoring and assuring compliance in meeting mandates for Early Head Start services to infants and toddlers in the child care option.

 

Job Posting: Family Support Worker Manager

 

Under the supervision of the Lourie Center Early Head Start Program Director:

·         Identifies community agencies and resources which provide services to families and children who are immigrants, bilingual, homeless and/or low income.

·         Develops and monitors referral systems and procedures

·         Provides consultation to family and community partners;

·          Oversees transition services to children aging out of program-;

·         Advocates for families to ensure successful referrals

·         Ensures absolute confidentially with respect to information and records concerning families and children

 

Job Posting: Education Practice Based Early Head Start

 

Under the supervision of the Lourie Center Early Head Start Education Manager, the Education Practice Based Worker functions as resource provider, data coach, practice-based specialist, learning facilitator, learner, and change agent. In addition, maintains a caseload of up to 8 classrooms.
