[YEP-DC] BUILD Volunteer Recruitment Happy Hour Event!

YOU’RE INVITED!

 

Please join BUILD at our 2^nd Volunteer Recruitment Happy Hour! We would love for you to join us on Wednesday, September 9^th from 5:00-7:30pm at Cava Mezze (527 8^th Street) as look to recruit over 300 volunteers this season. Please find more details on our invitation below.

 

As you may or may not know, BUILD ignites the potential of students in under-resourced communities through experiential learning. By helping students develop and run their own small businesses, BUILD’s program supplements traditional high school with real world business experiences and propels them to future college and career success. Our organization is growing fast, and we need your help! As we now partner with 9 high schools in the D.C. area and look to serve 400 students, we need over 200 amazing volunteers in roles such as Venture Capitalists, Graphic Designers, Showcase Judges, Workshop Panelists, and most importantly- MENTORS to join our BUILD Family!

 

We hope that you can join us next week to learn more about our program, ways you can get involved, and to mingle with the BUILD staff, and other like-minded past/future BUILD volunteers!
