I'm getting ready to head for the Joe Val BG Festival outside of Boston and it caused me to think, "maybe I should be reminding folks that festival season is right around the corner. The number of festivals increases dramatically in May, peaking during June, July & August and tailing off through September & October. If you've never been to an indoor winter BG fest, you MUST get yourself to Joe Val or Wilmington or Cabin Fever.  You'll have a great time and enjoy the civilized comforts of a nice hotel. Come for the day or the weekend but do yourself a favor and see what you've been missing. Lots of great jamming for all levels of experience & stage shows for every taste.
