[dcab-l] 2 Dulcimers for Sale

Bluegrassers

These two dulcimers were purchased from Folkcraft

Instruments around 1978, and look and sound fine;

the fretboards are straight, and there are no cracks.

The company has moved from Vermont to Indiana; here

is their Web Page:  http://www.folkcraft.com/

One dulcimer is called a "Mountain Model", and one an

"Hourglass  Model". They are being sold separately or

together. This info is from their catalog:

Mountain Model:

Made of solid and laminated Philippine Mahogany;

very durable with good tone quality; Sitka spruce

soundboard.

Hourglass Model:

Pure tone influenced by the shape and wood. Made of

solid and laminated Walnut (or Mahogany); the soundboard

is of Sitka spruce.

Please view these two instruments by clicking:

http://rattlesnakehill.org/marquis/

After both show together, like "sisters", the next three pictures

are the "Mountain Model"; the last three are the "Hourglass Model".

I'd like to get $150 @ piece; I'm sure the strings need

replacement.

Let me know if you are interested.
