The Ananse Shield Summer Leadership Academy, is approximately three weeks in length and is offered in August. We expect to have programs in New York City, Philadelphia and Washington DC/Baltimore.
Although all high school students can apply, we focus on students who will be entering 10th and 11th grades in the Fall of 2012. Applicants should have a B+ or better GPA (a 3.3 on a 4.0 scale) with a strong interest in attending an institution of higher education. In addition, students must be able to commit to a schedule which includes class meetings on Saturdays.
