[YEP-DC] Openings on the KIPP Foundation's KIPP Through College Team

I wanted to share information on two exciting openings on the KIPP Through College team at the KIPP Foundation.See below for details.

1.       VACANCY – College Partnership Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The College Partnership Manager's primary responsibility will be to work in close collaboration with the College Partnership Director and KIPP senior leadership to execute KIPP's approach to partnering with colleges to jointly ensure that our alumni are climbing the mountain not only to college, but through college. More specifically, the College Partnership Manager will be responsible for: (1) Establishing and managing a portfolio of partnerships with higher education institutions; (2) Supporting KIPP regional staff in establishing and managing a set of regional partnerships; (3) Working closely with our network to ensure we are fully leveraging our established partnerships; (4) Executing the pilot of KIPP's student support and student leadership development approach, College Ambassadors, through our College Connections initiative; and (5) providing support to the College Partnership Director in refining our strategic approach to college/university partnerships.

 

The College Partnership Manager will be an integral team member of KIPP's National KIPP Through College team reporting to the College Partnership Director. This is a full-time, exempt position with a flexible location, though preference will be given to candidates in San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

2.       VACANCY – Director, College and Career Readiness

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Director of College and Career Readiness will be responsible for driving the innovation at the national level of tools and practices that the KIPP network can use to increase the preparedness of our students and alumni for college. The scope of work will fall into three main categories—1) Develop tools and strategies to ensure the network fully leverages the power of the national Alumni Database, 2) Manage the development of a robust set of resources for use across the network to engender college and career readiness, and 3) Assist in the planning and long term execution of KTC.

The Director of College and Career Readiness will be an integral member of the National KTC team reporting to the National Director of KIPP Through College and managing the Alumni Tracking Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position and the location is flexible, with a preference for this person to be based in one of our KIPP Foundation offices (NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, or Washington, DC).
