Please join Teach For America • DC Region DC Region Innovation Challenge Pitch Showcase Thursday, May 31, 2012 Eastern Senior High School 1700 East Capitol Street NE Washington, DC 20003 Based on the premise that the challenges that have created and sustain educational inequity in the District of Columbia outweigh the pace of innovation, Teach For America-DC Region has supported the innovation of our corps members and alumni through a second annual Innovation Challenge Program.  With the goal of supporting the formation of game-changing local solutions, a cohort of corps members and alumni participated in a program that spanned five months.  To the program, participants brought a challenge they were passionate about solving and, through collaborative sessions and independent research, refined their understanding of the problem and developed a proposal for a scalable solution. 5:00 - 5:45 p.m.: Networking and Appetizers 5:45 - 6:00 p.m.: Welcome 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.: Pitch Presentations 7:30 - 8:00 p.m.: Reception and Announcement of the Winning Pitch RSVP here.  We will be in touch closer to the event with confirmation of your attendance and the evening's logistics.
