The Education Division is seeking two experienced professionals to join the Education Division. The two positions are:
1) as a senior policy analyst who will focus on issues related to effective teaching and leadership.
and
2) as a senior policy analyst who will focus on issues related to the Common Core State Standards, related assessments and STEM efforts.
NGA's members are the governors of the 50 states, three territories and two commonwealths. The NGA Center for Best Practices Education Division provides information, policy analysis, technical assistance and modest financial support for governors and their staff in the areas of early childhood, K-12, and postsecondary education. The Division is focused on key education policy issues relevant to governors' efforts to develop and enact policy and support its implementation to significantly improve the quality of public education.
