Chavez Spring Volunteer Opportunities

 

Volunteer for as a Panelist for Senior Thesis Presentations

 

Cesar Chavez Public Charter School - Parkside Campus is looking for adults to serve as panelists for senior thesis presentations. Panelists will listening to and evaluate students' public policy thesis presentations.  No expertise is required!  Chavez will provide a brief training for all panelists.

 

When: Thursday, May 17th and/or Friday, May 18th

                  from 4:30-     7:00pm. 

 

Where: Chavez Parkside Campus 3701 Hayes Street NE
                   Washington, DC (Minnesota Ave Metro).

 

It is very exciting to watch the students proudly present the fruits of all their hard work!

Volunteer for Chavez's International Affairs Youth Summit

Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy is looking for volunteers to be panelists at the third annual International Affairs Youth Summit.   The Summit will focus on the issue of drug trafficking between the US and Mexico and  students will present their analysis of the issue and recommended policies.   Volunteers will listen to students  presentations, ask foll0w-up questions, and provide feedback.  

 

When: Wednesday May 23rd and/or Wednesday May 30th 

                     from 9am-12:30pm
