Hi YEP!
I work for a startup building a new LMS that's going to have some sweet features and cost a bunch to use. We're looking for someone to help us test it and we'll let you use it free if you can use it this summer. Here's the formal request below.
Email me if you're interested.
Best,
Nathan
We're looking for instructors who will have students for multiple-session classes over the summer and are interested in helping us test out our new learning platform. This is based on the Canvas LMS but with a more advanced social experience and integrated multi-party video conferencing. Our key feature is the Live Lecture, which allows instructors to broadcast live video to the students in their class while sharing a presentation. They can see live video from their students during the class, and the students can see video from selected peers as well.
This is a great opportunity for instructors to use the Canvas LMS- we will help them build their course on the platform so they can see the robust pedagogical features that are gaining Canvas a lot of buzz (and contracts with lots of school districts!)- and have an integrated environment for teaching online.
We are preparing our platform for a pilot launch in the fall and early feedback from students and instructors on the features and functionality we're providing is very important to us.
