[dcab-l] Thanks to Jimmy and Orrin

In keeping with a long standing tradition of the Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series, Jimmy Gaudreau & Orrin Star put on their annual post-Thanksgiving show last night.  What super talented folks these two are - but more importantly thay are just nice people.  The night was filled with great harmony vocals and magnificent instrumentals.  Oh lest I forget, the dry and off the wall humor of these two gents abounded as well - lol.  A great way to close out our concert series for 2014.  We'll begin 2015 on absolutely solid ground with Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass on January 10th.

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR to all from the Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series.

[YEP-DC] Volunteer Posting: Provide holiday gifts to a student in need!

Want to bring joy to a student in need this holiday season?!

Over 350 Angel Tree kids (out of 6,100 registered) are in need of sponsors. The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program provides new clothing and toys to our "Angels" and we need your help to ensure that the remanding children receive gifts this year. There are only 5 days left to sign up!

We are in DESPERATE NEED of individuals and groups (companies, civic groups, professional associations, faith congregations etc.) to sponsor. Please register here.

We also need volunteers (individuals and groups) to help organize the thousands of gifts at our Angel Tree warehouse throughout December. Visit our website to learn more!

Thank you,
