[YEP-DC] Center for Urban Education Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education Residency Program Welcomes Applicants TODAY!

Greetings!

The Center for Urban Education at the University of the District of Columbia welcomes applications for the following graduate-level program:

Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education Urban Teacher Residency

Candidates invited to participate in this program will:

  • Receive FULL tuition for a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from the Center for Urban Education at the University of the District of Columbia
  • Receive an annual stipend of $25,000
  • Be employed as a Resident Teacher in an urban public charter school in Washington,DC
  • Enjoy regular scaffolding and support from university faculty, teaching supervisors, mentor teachers, and public charter school staff
  • Gain multi-year teaching experience in early childhood settings with real students in real time!
  • Be sponsored for initial licensure and certification in Washington, DC, which carries reciprocity in the surrounding metropolitan area and all 50 states!

The application deadline for the MA in Early Childhood Education Urban Teacher Residency Program is AUGUST 15, 2014.  All applicants must submit:

  1. A brief statement of purpose
  2. Two letters of recommendation
  3. A $50 graduate application fee
