The Mission of Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy is to challenge students with a rigorous curriculum that fosters citizenship and prepares them to excel in life. Human Resources Coordinator
Key Accountability Areas
Employment
· On-Boarding
· Retention
· Post-Employment
Payroll
· Maintain HR/Payroll database; enter/process hires, terms, etc.
· Ensure necessary paperwork for payroll processing
· Review payroll preview for accuracy
· Serve as liaison between Finance and staff on payroll related issues
Benefits
· Resolve monthly benefits related invoices
· Ensure enrollment paperwork to administrator
· Serve as point of contact relative to address changes, plan changes, requests for new cards, and general questions
· Assist with annual Open Enrollment:
Customer Service
· Return calls and emails timely; respond appropriately
· Listen; take action as necessary
· Take ownership for personal work products and the work products of the team
Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks
· Coordinate with Administrative Coordinator to ensure office supplies
· Maintain new hire packets
· Coordinate meetings and events
· Process improvement
· Faxing, Filing, Mailing, etc.
Core Requirements
§ Firm commitment d to process improvement and excellence
§ Results Driven
§ Bachelor's degree, preferred; 4+ years of HR experience in lieu of degree
§ Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional work environment
§ Superior knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office management applications and electronic communicationmanagement tools
§ Super-smart, yet consistently seeking to grow and learn
