Martha's Table, a non-profit organization that provides services to low-income families and individuals with food, clothing, day-care, after school and summer programs has an opportunity for a part-time Assistant Teacher and a full-time Lead Teacher for our Children's/Bridge Program.
The Teachers will be responsible for securing the program outcomes of problem-solving, academic initiative and community and belonging by the selection and completion of project-based learning opportunities that equip District adolescents with the aptitudes required to make life-affirming choices when outside of programming. The teachers will facilitate academic enrichment lessons that engage the youth.
The successful candidate should have:
(2) years of work experience as a teacher in a school or after school program setting
Bachelor's degree in Education
Excellent writing and communications skills.
Ability to work and relate with a diverse multi-racial groups.
Demonstrated involvement with the Youth community
Multitasking is a MUST!
