If you live in Loudoun, Frederick, Montgomery, or Washington Counties, this could be for you. Beans in the Belfry, a great cafe in downtown Brunswick, MD, has agreed to host a regular Bluegrass jam on the second and fifth Sundays of each month. The first jam is this weekend, Sunday the 10th. Time is 3-5 PM with the owner open to allowing us to continue till 6 if the interest is there.
Beans in the Belfry is a great venue which already hosts regular Old Time and Celtic jams. It's a cafe housed in a 100+ year old church with soaring ceiling, stained glass windows, and great acoustics. There is no cover charge. They serve great light fare, excellent coffee and tea, and an assortment of craft beer and local wines. It is very kid friendly with plenty of things provided to keep young folks happy and occupied.
