Position Overview:
The Impact Coach (IC) will report directly to the Director of School Partnerships (DSP). The Impact Coach is responsible for partnering with the Impact Directors and Managers to coach corps members throughout all aspects of their work with students across City Year's Impact models, Whole School Whole Child and Diplomas Now, with a focus on attendance, behavior and course performance initiatives. This includes having a portfolio of up to 8 schools in DC and coaching up to 12 staff members and 169 corps members. In addition, the Impact Coach is responsible for the creation and/or improvement of Whole School Whole Child implementation tools and trackers used for formative and summative reporting as well as developing and facilitating content for trainings. The Impact Coach is the subject matter expert responsible for supporting our school based teams and ensuring we achieve positive student results throughout the fiscal year (July-June).
