[dcab-l] Seldom Scene at Gettysburg Festival

I saw their set Friday night. As usual there was some great music between the silly stage antics. There were also a couple of special moments. Dudley noted that Larry Robbins, long time bass player for the Johnson Mountain Boys, was in the crowd. He recalled a few stories about being on the road with Larry in the 1980s and dealing with bus problems at the start of a road trip on the way to Texas.
A bit later Lou announced that it was Ben's birthday. He got out his phone to call Ben and had the crowd sing "Happy Birthday!" Ben replied "I wish I was there with all of you." It was a very nice personal touch from a fine group of gentlemen. Glad I was there.
