Many, many thanks go to SPECIAL CONSENSUS for an absolutely stunning evening of superb music and fun at the Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series on Saturday, August 8th. The band was at the Podunk festival up CT way the day before and had planned to arrive in Herndon, Virginia about 4:30 on Saturday, but, actually made it by about 6:30 pm, for a 7:30 pm showtime. As usual I95 was full of accidents that slowed the boys down considerably. You'd never know it by their performance as it was superb. They have it all - great vocal blend, magic on the strings, and a super sense of humor. Don't miss a chance to see SPECIAL CONSENSUS as they are marvelous musicians and exceptionally nice folks too.
