JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in education, psychology, evaluation, or statistics; (Master's degree preferred).

SKILLS are required to perform multiple non-technical and technical tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: using pertinent software applications, planning and managing multiple simultaneous projects; preparing and maintaining accurate records; and operating standard office equipment.

KNOWLEDGE is required to perform basic reporting as related to educational testing; read a variety of manuals, write documents following prescribed formats, and/or present information to others; and solve practical problems. Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: Competence in word processing (e.g. Word), database (e.g. Excel, Access), and other computer applications. Some knowledge of statistical (e.g. SPSS) software is also preferred.

ABILITY is required to schedule a number of activities, meetings, and/or events; often gather, collate, and/or classify data; and use basic, job-related equipment, including basic software applications such as Word, Excel, and Access. Flexibility is required to work with others in a wide variety of circumstances and, work with data utilizing defined and similar processes. Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written forms. Demonstrated success working with diverse groups of people. Problem solving is required to identify issues and create action plans. Problem solving requires independent interpretation of guidelines. Specific ability-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: attention to detail, ability to input data accurately and on a timely basis; maintaining confidentiality; meeting deadlines and schedules; setting priorities; and working with detailed information/data.

JOB DESCRIPTION: To assist with testing administrative duties for the Executive Director of the Department of Accountability that are necessary to carry out the mission of the Department of Accountability, which is to provide decision-makers with valid, reliable, and timely data for making sound choices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Assist in the implementation of the division's standardized testing and assessment program.
•Provide support and in-service training to division staff in the administration of multiple annual testing cycles.
•Compile and analyze testing and assessment results for the division and individual schools.
•Prepare informal or formal reports and presentations suitable for various audiences.
•Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director of the Department of Accountability.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

MONTHS / HOURS:
SALARY: SUP-32; $56,947 to $74,304, depending on experience.
DAYS: 240
