I hope no one will mind that I am sending this announcement to this list - this event is not in Bloomingdale, but close in proximity, and close to many hearts.
Please join DC residents to "Stand with Maryland" at an event on Monday, October 29, at Busboys and Poets on 14th to support the passage of Question 6 on the Maryland ballot on November 6. As someone who was a 25 year resident of Maryland, I am joining other DC residents to support the passage of marriage equality In Maryland. (While many of the names you will recognize are Democrats, this is an event for all who stand for equality.)
The event will have a cash bar, with drink specials created for the event.
I know some of you have already attended an event to support this cause, and perhaps some of you are lucky to be going to the dinner tonight, but if you haven't yet participated, please consider it, as the clock is ticking and Maryland needs our financial support for staff , advertising and direct mail.
