CityBridge Foundation and NewSchools Venture Fund are pleased to announce the launch of the Education Innovation Fellowship, a competitive fellowship that introduces a cohort of Washington, D.C.'s strongest teachers to the most promising innovations in blended learning. The Fellowship will run from January 2013 through December 2013 and select 10-12 Fellows from qualified applicants currently teaching in Washington, D.C. public schools—District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) and public charter schools. The Fellowship program will include local and national school visits, speakers, technology demonstrations and discussions. Fellows will also design and lead blended learning pilot programs during the summer of 2013 and the 2013-2014 school year. All Fellows will receive a $5,000 stipend for participation in the program, as well as a professional development incentive grant of $2,500 to be used for the purchase of technology, personalized coaching or other approved development opportunities.
