Bluegrassers:
I was driving home from my jazz gig at Takoma Station
last Thursday evening, and had XM playing in my truck.
They were broadcasting from IBMA, and part of the show
was showcasing "Emerging Talent". Sure enough, on came
Frank and the boys for a live song: the Boxtops great hit
"The Letter".
As always, Frank and the Boys ripped it up, great vocals and
instrumentals. Mucho energy! (I was especially taken with the
guitar pickin).
You go boys! Another of our home town bluegrass bands
making exceptional music!
Now, I wonder who was playing that mandolin?
