[dcab-l] Dupont Bluegrass Jam This Sunday 5/6 @ The Mansion on O St

Join us for the May edition of the first Sunday bluegrass jam at the Mansion on O St (2020 O Street N.W.), hosted by the DC Bluegrass Union. Musicians of all experience levels are welcome. We'll get started at 11pm, and play til 2pm.

NEWS: By popular request, this week we'll be trying out a slow jam room upstairs in the "Mediterranean Room" for folks who are interested. The main group will still gather in the usual place downstairs.

MORE NEWS: Sunday is also the Annual DCBU Pick-nic, and I'm hoping to coordinate rides after the jam. We'll try to leave as close to 2pm as possible so we don't miss out on all the fun. Drivers: Let me know if you can drive, and how many people you can fit in your car. Riders: let me know if you want a ride. For Metro riders, Mike Marceau has kindly offered rides from the East Falls Church Metro -- just call his cell if you need a lift to the Pick-nic: 301-542-9867. Here's more info about that event: https://www.facebook.com/events/238816336217350/

Please come prepared with couple tunes you'd like to play! Admission is always free, but if you're planning to come, please consider making a donation to our hosts https://www.omansion.com/museum/sro/reservation.shtml?Event=Jammin.

The Mansion has kindly offered us a deal on brunch (which I believe starts at 10am). We get 1/2 off breakfast, brunch or tea. Just sign up on their website and put 'bluegrass' in the notes field. They will apply the discount on their end.

And here are a couple additional helpful links:
