[YEP-DC] Join the National Urban League Rally for Opportunity

Join the National Urban League as we rally for opportunity.

On Wednesday, October 10th the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Fisher v. University of Texas case. The Fisher case will decide the constitutionality of the University's affirmative action policy and may ultimately determine whether qualified students from diverse backgrounds will have access to educational opportunity and a fair chance to achieve their potential.

Here's How You Can Help:

Join the rally on the steps of the Supreme Court on October 10th from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Our goal is to recruit 1,000 people to stand united for opportunity at the U.S. Supreme Court (1 First Street, N. E.Washington, D. C. 20543). (The official rally begins at 8:30 AM but the high point of the rally will be from 11 AM to 1PM.)

Email "Count Me In" to sbergeron@nul.org and  let us know that we will see you at the court.

Forward this Alert to your networks, colleagues, friends & family! Ask them to attend.

Spread the Word on Facebook & Twitter.

Share this cause with friends, family, coworkers by "liking" it on Facebook here. Promote the event on Twitter Monday, October 8, at 10:00 p.m. and live-tweet the event using the official rally hashtag #FISHERSCOTUS.

Stand with us at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 10th.
