Greetings, I would like to post the following job announcement
Passion for Learning, Inc. is looking for a digital media/writing instructor at after school One Dream Academy at
Strathmore Elementary School in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Instructor would lead digital writing workshops after school at Strathmore ES as part of an MSDE 21st Century Learning Center grant.
Students are in grades 3-5 and meet in the school's computer lab Monday through Thursday from 3:30-4:30.
Instructor would lead three series of digital writing workshops. First three week series is November 19 through December 10, 2nd series is February 11 through February 28 and 3rd series is May 6 through May 23.
The teacher would develop three digital writing projects to help students in grades 3-5 develop their writing skills. Projects could include digital photo stories, blogs, voki's, etc. Teacher would have two classroom assistants, including an assistant instructor from grant partner, Big Learning. Classroom size: 20-25
