[YEP-DC] Call for Book Proposals

DREAM Act Activists and Teacher Allies: Are You Listening?

Call for Submission of Chapters, Poetry, Essays, Artwork, Book Reviews, Photographs, Letters of Advocacy, Lesson Plans

Good afternoon friends and colleagues, we are a passionate and motivated group of advocates for youth interested in continuing their education in the United States despite the challenge of undocumented status.   Every state has its unique lens on the challenge with some blocking DREAMers without exception to others with unclear paths to educational opportunities.  It is a political issue, an economic issue, and, most importantly, it is an issue of social justice.  We are accepting chapter proposals from DREAM student activists and teacher allies who have compelling stories to help inspire possibilities and deepen our pedagogy of promise.
