The Director of Mathematics plays the crucial role in developing and shaping the direction of mathematics instruction at Friendship Public Charter School. The Director coordinates the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and instructional practices within mathematics to ensure all students meet and exceed Common Core Math Standards. The Director works collaboratively with the administrative and instructional staff and communicates effectively with members of the community and colleagues in other districts and schools. Additionally, the Director observes and evaluates instruction and provides individual guidance to Math Educators to ensure all students receive the highest quality of instruction. The Director's time is divided between the Central Office and visits to our six campus locations.
