[dcab-l] touring band looking to rent or borrow a standup bass Sept 15-20

Just passing this along from a West Coast band that's playing Gypsy Sally's, the Mansion at O Street, and a couple places in MD soon.  Please call them if interested.

I am in an acoustic harmony trio called box set (www.boxsetband.com) coming through to play in your area September 15-18 and 20th. We can't seem to find an upright bass to rent or borrow. Are there any kind hearted souls (or someone whose bass needs to be played) in your knowledge base that might be willing to help out? The upright bass is always the bane of our touring, but such a necessary part of the sound. We would gladly return the favor in the form of lodging, accommodations, gigs, etc. on the West Coast. Ben is a classically trained professional and very gentle / thoughtful with the bass!  We found you on the DCBU website.
