Re: [dcab-l] Original Love Song: "Anyway"

I'm partial to the song Anyday as done by Derek & the Dominos.

plum pitiful love song but not quite BG. Might be adaptable to that though.

Here is an original composition from songwriter Phyllis Alden, a neighbor who in
the 80s, lived in Takoma Park, Md.,  a real hotbed of musicians.

I served as her lead guitarist and harmony singer.  I thought to sing her song
"Anyway" with my own voice, guitar, and arrangement.

My music endeavors began playing classical guitar, and did that for 5 years;
right hand technique was helpful as I moved on to bass guitar and upright.  So,
this song is dedicated to my first guitar teacher, Joseph Mayes.

On  "Anyway", I am playing a beautiful old Ramirez classical.  I recorded this
song at Micah Solomon's "Oasis Studios" in College Park, Md.

This is a lush and lovely song; I hope the timing, touch, and tone of the Ramirez
matches the pathos of this heart wrenching original.  To listen, click:

As always, try headphones!

PS: A few may have received this song back in 2012.
