A message from Randy Barrettt, president of the DC Bluegrass Union:
"Hi all. You've probably heard WAMU is selling its Bluegrass Country station. What you don't know is that a new foundation has just formed to (hopefully) become the station's new home. PLEASE DONATE GENEROUSLY. The goal is $200K by Oct. 17, when the purchase proposal is due to WAMU. Donations will be tax deductible. Spread the word!"
To date $26,000 of $200,000 has been raised. Please add your donation.
