Membership Reception
We are looking for YEP-DC volunteers to help plan a Membership Reception in January 2017. This exciting new event will provide an opportunity to mingle with members of the YEP-DC community and recognize YEP-DC members who have made significant contributions to education in the DMV area. We need your help to make this event a success and are asking interested people to join our planning committee.
Volunteer duties will include:
If you have been interested in getting more involved with YEP-DC, here is your chance! We invite you to come to our introductory meeting on Monday, October 3rd at 5:30 pm at the MLK Library, Room 221 (Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro). Let us know you'll be there by RSVPing to Meredith Chase-Mitchell, VP of Membership, via email at mchasemitchell@gmail.com. She will also be happy to answer any questions you have about the event or the requested scope of duties/time commitment for volunteers.

- Venue Search
- Securing nominations for awards
- Assistance in the evening's program
- Day-of greeters
