The Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series featured SIDELINE this past Saturday, March 5th. Words escape me as to how best to describe that evening. Magical comes to mind as does stunning as does amazing, etc. The dynamics of this fine band are something to behold. There are a bunch of truly seasoned outstanding bluegrass musicians in the band as well as some rapidly rising younger folks too. A truly special mix of vocal and instrumental talent that has to be experienced "live" to fully appreciate just how special this group is. SIDELINE started out a couple of years ago as a true "project" band but has morphed into a rock solid ensemble with two recorded projects currently on the charts (Session I and Session II) and another one (I'm guessing -- Session III -- lol) in the works. I'm hoping I'll be able to host them again this Fall/Winter if schedules allow. Many, many "THANKS" to Steve Dilling, Jason Moore, Skip Cherryholmes, Brian Aldridge and Nathan Aldridge for being a part of our concert series and for an absolutely amazing night of music and fun. You're great folks to be around too!!!
