Americana Master Bob Lucas
Friday, April 1 at 8 PM
Brown Memorial Woodbrook Presbyterian Church
6200 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD  21212

If you love Alison Krauss, then you love Bob Lucas! Bob has written songs for Alison's 1996 Grammy Award-winning album So Long So Wrong, as well as for her acclaimed 2001 release New Favorite. Performing on banjo, guitar and fiddle, singer-songwriter Bob Lucas has received acclaim in his own right. His 1972 album The Dancer Inside of You received a 4-star rating from Downbeat Magazine; the 2 songs picked up and recorded by the legendary Newgrass Revival were only the beginning of many Bob Lucas songs in their repertoire. Bob continues to write and record, both with Mad River Theater Works and with daughter Chloe Manor and son-in-law Chris Westhoff as the Hedgehog String Band.
