The authors of "Somebody Touched Me"  are Francis and John Reedy.  John Reedy

and his Stone Mountain Hillbillys recorded it in 1949.

 

This song and our performance is representative of a genre called: Bluegrass Gospel.

(It helps that my granddad was a Holiness Christian Preacher; he served parishes in the

Anthracite coal fields of northeast Pennsylvania during the depression.)
