Russ Carson has a guitar for sale and I’m posting the info here for him. Many of you know Russ from the Patuxent Banjo Project and as the banjo player for Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder.

Hey everyone, I have thought about this for some time now and have decided to sell the guitar I built. This guitar was constructed with hide glue, pre-war style forward shifted scalloped braces, straight grain east Indian rosewood back & sides, AAA grade premium Adirondack spruce top, bone pins, bone nut & saddle, dovetail neck joint, mahogany neck and Waverly tuners. This guitar is truly beautiful, but it sounds even better than it looks. It has a fantastic low end just like a great rosewood box should have, but it is also completely even and balanced sounding all the way up the neck. This is a wonderful guitar and should to be loved and played daily.
