River and Roots Festival benefits the Friends of the Shenandoah. Furnace Mountain CD Release At River and Roots Festival Come celebrate Furnace Mountain's new CD. Lots of great new Furnace Mountain music recorded and mixed by our own Danny Knicely. We will be signing CD's after our main stage Festival set at River and Roots on St. June 25 . Set time is 6-7 then we will be at the Festival store to sign CD's. We hope you will join us. Artwork by Maria Nicklin. Kids Talent Showcase At River and Roots Festival Come show off your talent at the second annual Kids Talent Showcase at River and Roots. Singers and instrumentalists can enter this friendly competition in the 0-7 or 8-12 age brackets. The top performer in each category will win a Shepherd's Ford Talent Contest Medal, and all participants receive a custom sticker and plenty of bragging rights! Start practicing your talent now and sign up to participate when you get to the festival. New this year All ages Fiddle Camp at River and Roots Festival Fiddle Music Camp - River and Roots 2016 - This year at River and Roots Festival we will be featuring a Fiddle Music Camp on Tuesday 6/21/16 thru Thursday from 1 pm thru 4 pm each day, Friday will be 1-2 pm. This camp is for all ages and all levels. Teachers include Malia Furtado, Stacey Sinclair and David Van Deventer. More info.
