What Happens in the Classroom is Only the Beginning: Teachers and Community Supports
In late October, YEP-DC hosted a panel about partnerships between teaching and out-of-school services designed to support students. As community-school partnerships grow, schools need to ensure that they are providing students with the best possible services from initiating the partnership to delivery of services. Three expert panelists, from Cesar Chavez PCS, Higher Achievement, and Reading Partners, spoke to their experiences and best practices.
